श्रीमहेश्वर उवाच
Dharma is expressed through concrete hospitality: properly welcoming others by offering foot-water, arghya, a seat, rest, light, and shelter. Righteousness is measured not only by intention but by timely, appropriate care for those who arrive in need.
Śrī Maheśvara states a criterion of dharmic behavior within a didactic context: the person who provides the standard courtesies and necessities of reception—ritual respect and practical support—is declared ‘dhārmika,’ i.e., truly righteous.
