Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
ग्रहस्यथातिबलस्याजड्रे वरदत्तस्य धीमत: । न शस्त्राणि वहन्त्यड्रे चक्रवज्ञशतान्यपि
grahasyathātibalasyāḍre varadattasya dhīmataḥ | na śastrāṇi vahantyāḍre cakravajñaśatāny api ||
واسودیو نے کہا—شیو کے عطا کردہ ور سے نوازا ہوا وہ نہایت طاقتور اور دانا گراہ ایسا ناقابلِ نفوذ تھا کہ چکر اور وجر کی مانند تیز سینکڑوں ہتھیار بھی اس کے جسم کو چھید نہ سکے؛ جسے الٰہی عنایت کی حفاظت حاصل ہو، اس کے آگے محض زور اور اسلحہ بے کار ثابت ہوتے ہیں۔
