विभूषितं पुण्यपवित्रतोयया सदा च जुष्टं नृप जह्लुकन्यया । विभूषितं धर्मभृतां वरिष्ठै- महात्मभिव॑द्लिसमानकल्पै:

Transliteration

vibhūṣitaṃ puṇyapavitratoyayā sadā ca juṣṭaṃ nṛpa jahlukanyayā | vibhūṣitaṃ dharmabhṛtāṃ variṣṭhair mahātmabhir adlisamānakalpaiḥ ||

Translation

واسودیو نے کہا—اے نریشور! وہ مقام پاکیزہ اور مقدس پانیوں سے آراستہ تھا، اور جَہنو کی بیٹی، جاہنوی ندی، گویا محبت سے اس کا لطف اٹھاتی ہوئی، ہمیشہ وہاں آتی جاتی رہتی تھی۔ دھرم کے نگہبانوں میں برتر، آگ کی مانند درخشاں تیز والے بہت سے مہاتما بھی اس آشرم-بھومی کو رونق بخشتے تھے۔ یوں پُنّیہ سلِلا جاہنوی اپنے ثواب آلود دھارے سے اس مقدس خطّے کی زیبائی برابر بڑھاتی رہتی تھی۔
