अतन्र ते वर्तयिष्यामि पुरावृत्तमिदं नूप । द्वैधायनस्य संवादं कीटस्य च युधिष्ठिर,नरेश्वर! युधिष्ठिर! इस विषयमें द्वैपवायन व्यास और एक कीड़ेका संवादरूप जो यह प्राचीन वृत्तान्त प्रसिद्ध है, वही तुम्हें बता रहा हूँ

Transliteration

atantra te vartayiṣyāmi purāvṛttam idaṃ nṛpa | dvaidhāyanasya saṃvādaṃ kīṭasya ca yudhiṣṭhira ||

Translation

اے بادشاہ! اے یدھشٹھِر! میں تمہیں بے تامل یہ قدیم واقعہ سناتا ہوں—دوی دھاین (ویاس) اور ایک کیڑے کے درمیان ہونے والا مکالمہ۔
