Bhaṅgāśvanopākhyāna — On comparative affection in strī–puruṣa union (भङ्गाश्वनोपाख्यानम्)
तेषां च वैरमुत्पन्नं कालयोगेन वै द्विज । एतत् शोचाम्यहं ब्रह्मन् दैवेन समभिप्लुता
teṣāṁ ca vairam utpannaṁ kālayogena vai dvija | etat śocāmy ahaṁ brahman daivena samabhiplutā ||
بھیشم نے کہا— اے دُو بار جنم لینے والے! زمانے کے الٹ پھیر سے اُن میں باہمی عداوت پیدا ہو گئی۔ اے برہمن! تقدیر کے ہاتھوں مغلوب ہو کر میں اسی پر غمگین ہوں۔
