अंगियरा उवाच
The verse underscores karmic fruition: righteous or meritorious action leads to elevated posthumous results—symbolized by ascent to heaven in a celestial vimāna—and sustained enjoyment there for an immense duration.
Aṅgiras describes the destiny of a meritorious person: he is conveyed to heaven in a swan-drawn celestial chariot and experiences heavenly delight for ‘a hundred thousand years,’ emphasizing the grandeur of the reward.
