उपवासफलात्मकविधिः — Upavāsa as Yajña-Equivalent Merit

षड्भि: स वर्षै्न॑पते सिध्यते नात्र संशय: । अग्निष्टोमस्य यज्ञस्य फल प्राप्नोति मानव:
ṣaḍbhiḥ sa varṣair nṛpate sidhyate nātra saṃśayaḥ | agniṣṭomasya yajñasya phalaṃ prāpnoti mānavaḥ ||
اے نرپتے! چھ برس کے اندر وہ کامیابی حاصل کر لیتا ہے—اس میں کوئی شک نہیں۔ وہ انسان اگنِشٹوم یَجْن کا پھل پاتا ہے۔
