Educational Q&A

This verse functions as a concluding colophon, framing the preceding material as instruction on dāna-dharma—ethical giving as a key component of dharma—presented through the authoritative dialogue of sages.

Bhīṣma marks the completion of the hundredth chapter within the Anuśāsana Parva’s dāna-focused section, identifying it by title as the dialogue between Agastya and Bhṛgu and formally closing the chapter.
