Duḥṣanta–Śakuntalā: Gandharva Marriage and Succession Condition
नग्नजिन्नाम राजासीद् भुवि विख्यातविक्रम: । एकचक्र इति ख्यात आसीद्ू यस्तु महासुर:
Vaiśampāyana uvāca |
Nagnajit-nāmā rājāsīd bhuvi vikhyāta-vikramaḥ |
Ekacakra iti khyāta āsīd yas tu mahāsuraḥ ||
وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا—زمین پر ‘نَگنَجِت’ نام کا ایک بادشاہ تھا جو اپنے شجاعانہ کارناموں کے سبب مشہور تھا۔ اور ‘ایکچکر’ کے نام سے معروف جو عظیم اَسور تھا، وہی یہاں عالمِ انسان میں اسی نام سے مشہور بادشاہ بن کر پیدا ہوا۔
