पराशरेण संयुक्ता सद्यो गर्भ सुषाव सा । जज्ञे च यमुनाद्वीपे पाराशर्य: स वीर्यवान्‌

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | parāśareṇa saṃyuktā sadyo garbhaṃ suṣāva sā | jajñe ca yamunādvīpe pārāśaryaḥ sa vīryavān |

Translation

پرَاشر کے ساتھ متحد ہو کر اس نے فوراً حمل ٹھہرایا اور فوراً ہی ولادت بھی ہوئی۔ یمنا کے جزیرے میں پرَاشر کا بیٹا، قوت و شوکت والا پاراشریہ (ویاس) پیدا ہوا۔
