King Duḥṣanta’s Entry into the Forest Hunt
जग्राह तरसोपेत्य साद्रिका मत्स्यरूपिणी । कदाचिदपि मत्सीं तां बबन्धुर्मत्स्यजीविन:
jagrāha tarasopetya sādrikā matsyarūpiṇī | kadācid api matsīṁ tāṁ babandhur matsyajīvinaḥ ||
وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا: مچھلی کی صورت والی اَدریکا تیزی سے لپکی اور اسے پکڑ لیا۔ پھر کچھ عرصے بعد مچھلی پکڑ کر گزر بسر کرنے والے ماہی گیروں نے اس مچھلی کو جال میں پھنسا کر باندھ لیا؛ اور جب اس کا پیٹ چاک کیا تو اس کے اندر سے ایک لڑکی اور ایک لڑکا برآمد ہوئے—یوں یمنا کے پانیوں میں خواہش اور تقدیر کا یہ عجیب انجام ظاہر ہوا۔
