Ādi Parva, Adhyāya 193 — Hastināpura Mantra: Duryodhana’s Proposals to Divide the Pāṇḍavas
ते तत्र वीरा: परमासनेषु सपादपीठेष्वविशड्कमाना: । यथानुपूर्व विविशुर्नराग्रया- स्तथा महार्हेषु न विस्मयन्त:
te tatra vīrāḥ paramāsaneṣu sapādapīṭheṣv aviśaṅkamānāḥ | yathānupūrvaṃ viviśur narāgryās tathā mahārheṣu na vismayantaḥ ||
وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا—وہاں وہ نرِشریشٹھ ویروں نے پاؤں رکھنے کے تختوں سمیت نہایت قیمتی اور عالی شان نشستوں پر بلا تردد، بڑے چھوٹے کے ترتیب وار جا کر جگہ لی؛ اور ایسے گراں بہا تختوں کو دیکھ کر بھی اُن کے دل میں ذرّہ بھر تعجب نہ ہوا۔
