ममापि चेद् भवेदेवमी श्वरस्य सतो महत् | उपेक्षमाणस्य पुनर्लोकानां किल्बिषाद् भयम्
mama api ced bhaved evam īśvarasya sataḥ mahat | upekṣamāṇasya punar lokānāṁ kilbiṣād bhayam | śaktiṁ cāpi hi dharmajña nātikrāntum ihārhasi | prajāyāś ca mamocchedaṁ na caivaṁ kartum arhasi ||
اورْو نے کہا— اگر میں بھی، قوت رکھتے ہوئے، لوگوں کے اس عظیم گناہ آلود چلن کو بے نیازی سے دیکھتا رہوں تو مجھے بھی ان کے گناہ کا خوف لاحق ہو سکتا ہے۔ اور اے دھرم کے جاننے والے! تمہیں شکتی کی مقرر کی ہوئی حد سے تجاوز نہیں کرنا چاہیے۔ نیز میری نسل کو اس طرح مٹانا بھی تمہارے لیے درست نہیں۔
