अर्जुनस्य लक्ष्यवेधः
Arjuna’s Hitting of the Target at the Svayaṃvara
पितर ऊचु. और्व दृष्ट: प्रभावस्ते तपसोग्रस्य पुत्रक | प्रसादं कुरु लोकानां नियच्छ क्रोधमात्मन:
pitar ūcuḥ | aurva dṛṣṭaḥ prabhāvas te tapasograsya putraka | prasādaṃ kuru lokānāṃ niyaccha krodham ātmanaḥ ||
پِتر بولے—“اے اوروَ، پیارے بیٹے! ہم نے تیری سخت ریاضت کی قوت دیکھ لی ہے۔ اب اپنے اندر کے غضب کو روک اور تمام جہانوں پر مہربانی کر۔”
वसिष्ठ उवाच
Spiritual power gained through tapas should be governed by self-restraint; anger must be checked and transformed into benevolence for the welfare of all beings.
The Pitṛs address the sage Aurva, acknowledging the formidable potency of his austerities and urging him to curb his wrath and extend grace to the worlds rather than unleash destructive anger.
