ऑपनआक्रात बछ। अ-काज जा अष्टस प्तरत्याधेकशततमो< ध्याय: पितरोंद्वारा और्वके क्रोधका निवारण ब्राह्मण्युवाच नाहं गृह्नामि वस्ताता दृष्टी्नास्मि रुषान्विता । अयं तु भार्गवो नूनमूरुज: कुपितो5चद्य व:

brāhmaṇy uvāca—nāhaṁ gṛhṇāmi vastāta dṛṣṭiṁ nāsmi ruṣānvitā | ayaṁ tu bhārgavo nūnam ūrūjaḥ kupito ’dya vaḥ ||

برہمن عورت نے کہا: اے بچے! میں نے تمہاری بینائی نہیں چھینی، نہ ہی مجھے تم پر کوئی غضب ہے۔ مگر میری ران سے پیدا ہونے والا یہ بھارگوَ لڑکا آج یقیناً تم لوگوں پر غضبناک ہوا ہے۔
