ततो हलहलाशब्द आसीत् पाञ्चालके बले । जिघृक्षति महासिंहो गजानामिव यूथपम्

تب پانچال کی فوج میں سخت ہاہاکار مچ گیا۔ جیسے کوئی عظیم شیر ہاتھیوں کے جھنڈ کے سردار کو پکڑنے کے لیے لپکتا ہے، ویسے ہی ارجن دروپد کو گرفتار کرنے پر تُلا ہوا تھا؛ اور اسی لمحے پانچال کی صفوں میں شور و غوغا پھیل گیا۔
