Vāraṇāvata-prasaṃsā and the Pāṇḍavas’ Departure (वरणावत-प्रशंसा तथा पाण्डव-प्रयाणम्)
वैशम्पायन उवाच तथेत्युक्त्वा च गत्वा च भीष्ममूचु: कुमारका:
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: tathety uktvā ca gatvā ca Bhīṣmam ūcuḥ kumārakāḥ.
وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا—“یوں ہی ہو” کہہ کر وہ کم سن شہزادے بھیشم کے پاس گئے اور اس برہمن کے سچے کلمات اور اس کے دکھائے ہوئے حیرت انگیز پرَاکرم کا حال بھیشم کو سنایا۔ ان کی باتیں سن کر بھیشم سمجھ گئے کہ وہ برہمن آچاریہ درون ہی ہیں۔
