Vāraṇāvata-vivāsana-nīti: Dhṛtarāṣṭra and Duryodhana’s Policy Dialogue
राम॑ प्रहरतां श्रेष्ठ दित्सन्तं विविध वसु । अहं धनमनन्तं हि प्रार्थये विपुलव्रत
vaiśampāyana uvāca | rāma praharatāṃ śreṣṭha ditsantaṃ vividhaṃ vasu | ahaṃ dhanam anantaṃ hi prārthaye vipulavrata dvijaśreṣṭha ||
ویَشَمپایَن نے کہا— “اے رام! دشمنوں پر ضرب لگانے والوں میں سب سے برتر، جو طرح طرح کا مال عطا کرنا چاہتے ہو! اے عظیم ورت کے پابند، اے برہمنوں میں افضل! میں تم سے ایسے بے پایاں مال کا سوال کرتا ہوں جس کا کبھی اختتام نہ ہو۔”
