Droṇa’s Ācārya-Dakṣiṇā: Capture of Drupada and Division of Pāñcāla (द्रोण-आचार्यदक्षिणा)

प्रसह बन्धने बद्ध्वा प्रशासिष्ये वसुंधराम्‌ । एवं स निश्चयं पाप: कृत्वा दुर्योधनस्तदा । नित्यमेवान्तरप्रेक्षी भीमस्यासीन्महात्मन:

prasaha bandhane baddhvā praśāsiṣye vasuṃdharām | evaṃ sa niścayaṃ pāpaḥ kṛtvā duryodhanas tadā | nityam evāntaraprekṣī bhīmasyāsīn mahātmanaḥ ||

“انہیں زبردستی قید و بند میں جکڑ کر میں زمین پر حکومت کروں گا۔” یوں یہ بدکار ارادہ باندھ کر دُریودھن اسی وقت سے مہاتما بھیم کو نقصان پہنچانے کے لیے ہمیشہ موقع تاکنے لگا۔
