एवमुक्ता तु सा देवी तथा चक्रे पतिव्रता । यथोक्तमेव तद्वाक्यं भद्रा पुत्रार्थिनी तदा,आकाशवाणीके यों कहनेपर पुत्रकी इच्छा रखनेवाली पतिव्रता भद्रादेवीने पतिकी पूर्वोक्त आज्ञाका अक्षरश: पालन किया

Transliteration

evamuktā tu sā devī tathā cakre pativratā | yathoktam eva tad vākyaṃ bhadrā putrārthinī tadā ||

Translation

یوں کہے جانے پر وہ پتिवرتا دیوی ویسا ہی کرنے لگی۔ اُس وقت بیٹے کی آرزو رکھنے والی بھدراؔ نے شوہر کے کہے ہوئے حکم کی بعینہٖ تعمیل کی۔
