Ādi-parva Adhyāya 116 — Pāṇḍu’s Transgression of the Curse and Mādrī’s Final Charge

वैशम्पायन उवाच साध्वयं प्रश्न उद्दिष्ट: पाण्डवेय ब्रवीमि ते । तां मांसपेशीं भगवान्‌ स्वयमेव महातपा:

vaiśampāyana uvāca | sādhv ayaṃ praśna uddiṣṭaḥ pāṇḍaveya bravīmi te | tāṃ māṃsapeśīṃ bhagavān svayam eva mahātapāḥ |

وَیشمپاین نے کہا—“اے پاندو کے نسل والے! تم نے بہت اچھا سوال کیا ہے۔ میں تمہیں اس کا جواب بتاتا ہوں۔ عظیم ریاضت والے بھگوان ویاس نے خود ہی اس گوشت کے لوتھڑے کی دیکھ بھال کی اور اسے قاعدے کے مطابق تقسیم و محفوظ کرنے کے انتظامات کیے، تاکہ وعدہ کی گئی اولاد ظاہر ہو سکے۔”
