धर्म्यमर्थसमायुक्तमुवाच वचन हितम् | कौसल्ये धर्मतन्त्र॑ त्वां यद् ब्रवीमि निबोध तत्
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
dharmyam arthasamāyuktam uvāca vacanaṁ hitam |
kausalyē dharmatantre tvaṁ yad bravīmi nibodha tat ||
اس نے نہایت دھارمک، مصلحتِ معاش سے ہم آہنگ اور فائدہ مند بات کہی: “اے کوسلیا! دھرم کے ضابطے میں قائم رہ کر جو میں کہتی ہوں، اسے خوب سمجھ لو۔”
