नियोगप्रसङ्गः — The Niyoga Episode: Births of Dhṛtarāṣṭra, Pāṇḍu, and Vidura

यस्मान्मे वसवो जह्र्गा वै दोग्ध्रीं सुवालधिम्‌ । तस्मात्‌ सर्वे जनिष्यन्ति मानुषेषु न संशय:

yasmān me vasavo jahruḥ vai dogdhrīṃ suvaladhim | tasmāt sarve janiṣyanti mānuṣeṣu na saṃśayaḥ ||

“چونکہ وسوؤں نے میری خوبصورت دُم والی دودھ دینے والی گائے کو چرا لیا ہے، اس لیے وہ سب کے سب انسانوں میں جنم لیں گے—اس میں کوئی شک نہیں۔”
