ततः स मृगयामास वने तस्मिंस्तपोधन: । नाध्यगच्छच्च मृगयंस्तां गां मुनिरुदारधी:,तब तपोधन वसिष्ठजी उस वनमें गायकी खोज करने लगे; परंतु खोजनेपर भी वे उदारबुद्धि महर्षि उस गायको न पा सके
tataḥ sa mṛgayāmāsa vane tasmiṃs tapodhanaḥ | nādhyagacchac ca mṛgayan tāṃ gāṃ munir udāradhīḥ ||
تب وہ تپودھن مُنی اسی جنگل میں گائے کی تلاش میں نکل پڑا؛ مگر ڈھونڈتے رہنے پر بھی وہ عالی فہم رشی اس گائے کو نہ پا سکا۔
