देवैर्विष्णोः शरणागमनम्—शिवलिङ्गस्थापनं, शिवसहस्रनामस्तवः, सुदर्शनचक्रप्रदानं च

स्कन्धः स्कन्धधरो धुर्यः प्रकटः प्रीतिवर्धनः अपराजितः सर्वसहो विदग्धः सर्ववाहनः

skandhaḥ skandhadharo dhuryaḥ prakaṭaḥ prītivardhanaḥ aparājitaḥ sarvasaho vidagdhaḥ sarvavāhanaḥ

وہ سکندھ—سہارا دینے والا ستون ہے؛ سکندھ دھَر، دھُریہ—کائنات کا بوجھ اٹھانے والا پیشوا۔ وہ ظاہر، خود روشن، اور بھکتی کی خوشی بڑھانے والا ہے۔ وہ اَپراجِت، سَروَسہ—سب کچھ سہنے والا؛ وِدگدھ—نہایت صاحبِ فہم، اور سَروَواہن—تمام سواریوں/وسائل کا حامل و ناظم، جو جیووں کی حرکت کو بندھن سے موکش کی سمت لے جاتا ہے۔
