paśya puṇyāni liṅgāni sarvakāmapradāni tu evametāni puṇyāni mannivāsāni pārvati
Shiva (addressing Parvati within Suta’s narration)
It declares that sacred Liṅgas are not mere symbols but Śiva’s living abodes, and that their darśana and worship yield comprehensive spiritual and worldly fruits.
Śiva is presented as Pati—the indwelling Lord who chooses to be accessible through consecrated Liṅga-abodes, granting grace and the fulfillment of aims under dharma.
Liṅga-darśana and Liṅga-pūjā are emphasized: approaching the Liṅga as Śiva’s residence, cultivating devotion (bhakti) and surrender that loosens pasha (bondage) for the pashu (soul).
