ubhayoḥ pakṣayordevi vārāṇasyāmupāsyate śaśibhānūparāge ca kārtikyāṃ ca viśeṣataḥ

Translation

اے دیوی، وارانسی میں شُکل اور کرشن—دونوں پکشوں میں—عبادت کرنی چاہیے؛ چاند اور سورج کے گرہن میں، اور خصوصاً کارتک کے مہینے میں۔
