Adhyaya 89: शौचाचारलक्षणम् — सदाचार, भैक्ष्यचर्या, प्रायश्चित्त, द्रव्यशुद्धि, आशौच-निर्णय

यः पुनस्तत्त्ववेत्ता च ब्रह्मविद् ब्राह्मणोत्तमः स्मरणाच्छुद्धिमाप्नोति नात्र कार्या विचारणा

yaḥ punastattvavettā ca brahmavid brāhmaṇottamaḥ smaraṇācchuddhimāpnoti nātra kāryā vicāraṇā

جو برہمنِ برتر حقیقت (تتّو) کا جاننے والا اور برہمن (برہما) کا عارف ہو، وہ محض یادِ الٰہی سے پاکیزگی پا لیتا ہے؛ اس میں مزید غور کی حاجت نہیں۔
