Adhyaya 89: शौचाचारलक्षणम् — सदाचार, भैक्ष्यचर्या, प्रायश्चित्त, द्रव्यशुद्धि, आशौच-निर्णय

चतुर्थ्यां स्त्री न गम्या तु गतो ऽल्पायुः प्रसूयते विद्याहीनं व्रतभ्रष्टं पतितं पारदारिकम्

caturthyāṃ strī na gamyā tu gato 'lpāyuḥ prasūyate vidyāhīnaṃ vratabhraṣṭaṃ patitaṃ pāradārikam

چَتُرتھی تِتھی میں عورت کے پاس جماع کے لیے نہ جانا چاہیے۔ اس خلاف ورزی سے کم عُمر اولاد پیدا ہوتی ہے—جو علمِ صحیح سے محروم، ورت سے بھٹکی ہوئی، گِری ہوئی اور پرائی عورت کی طرف مائل ہوتی ہے؛ یوں پاش (بندھن) مضبوط ہوتا ہے اور پشو (جیو) کی پتی شِو کی طرف پیش رفت رک جاتی ہے۔
