उमामहेश्वरव्रतं—पञ्चाक्षरमन्त्रस्य माहात्म्यं, न्यासः, जपविधिः, सदाचारः, विनियोगः

एवं तुष्टो गुरुः शिष्यं पूजितं वत्सरोषितम् शुश्रूषुम् अनहङ्कारम् उपवासकृशं शुचिम्

Transliteration

evaṃ tuṣṭo guruḥ śiṣyaṃ pūjitaṃ vatsaroṣitam śuśrūṣum anahaṅkāram upavāsakṛśaṃ śucim

Translation

یوں مطمئن گرو نے اس شِش کو دیکھا—جس نے پوجا کی تھی اور ایک برس خدمت میں رہا تھا—خدمت کا مشتاق، بے اَہنکار، روزوں سے دبلا اور پاکیزہ۔
