उमामहेश्वरव्रतं—पञ्चाक्षरमन्त्रस्य माहात्म्यं, न्यासः, जपविधिः, सदाचारः, विनियोगः

यत्सत्यं ब्रह्म इत्याहुर् असत्यं ब्रह्मदूषणम् अनृतं परुषं शाठ्यं पैशुन्यं पापहेतुकम्

Transliteration

yatsatyaṃ brahma ityāhur asatyaṃ brahmadūṣaṇam anṛtaṃ paruṣaṃ śāṭhyaṃ paiśunyaṃ pāpahetukam

Translation

وہ کہتے ہیں کہ سچ ہی برہمن ہے؛ اور جھوٹ برہمن کی آلودگی ہے۔ دروغ، سخت کلامی، فریب اور چغلی—یہ سب گناہ کے اسباب ہیں۔
