Suta Goswami (narrating the Linga Purana’s dharma and ritual standards to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It standardizes the measurement of the kṣetra (consecrated space) used for Linga installation and Shiva-puja, ensuring the ritual field is correctly defined across traditional systems.
Indirectly: Shiva as Pati is approached through ordered dharma—properly delimited sacred space supports pure worship that loosens pāśa (bondage) for the paśu (soul).
Puja-vidhi discipline: correct kṣetra-māna for consecration and offerings. It reflects the Pāśupata emphasis on regulated practice (niyama) as a support for inner purification.
