Adhyaya 72 — Puradāha: Rudra’s Cosmic Chariot, Pāśupata-Vrata, and Brahmā’s Shiva-Stuti

Suta Goswami (narrating a traditional Shiva-stuti within the Linga Purana discourse)
It shifts Linga-puja from only an outer icon to inner worship: Shiva as the indwelling Pati present in the root, navel, and heart—making the devotee’s body a living temple for Linga-dhyāna.
Shiva is portrayed as the eternal, all-abiding Consciousness (Pati) who pervades subtle stations within the practitioner, revealing Himself as inner resonance (nāda) that loosens pāśa (bondage) for the paśu (soul).
A yogic contemplation/nyāsa on inner centers—mūla (root), nābhi (navel), and hṛdaya (heart)—with attention to subtle sound (niḥsvana), aligning with Pāśupata-oriented inner japa and dhyāna.
