Adhyaya 70: आदिसर्गः—महत्-अहङ्कार-तन्मात्रा-भूतसृष्टिः, ब्रह्माण्डावरणम्, प्रजासर्गः, त्रिमूर्ति-शैवाधिष्ठानम्
ते सुखप्रीतिबहुला बहिरन्तश् च संवृताः प्रकाशा बहिरन्तश् च ऊर्ध्वस्रोतोभवाः स्मृताः
te sukhaprītibahulā bahirantaś ca saṃvṛtāḥ prakāśā bahirantaś ca ūrdhvasrotobhavāḥ smṛtāḥ
وہ خوشی اور سرور سے بھرپور ہیں؛ باہر اور اندر سے ضبط میں اور پردہ میں ہیں، پھر بھی باہر اور اندر سے نورانی ہیں۔ انہیں ‘اُردھوسروتس’ کے پیدا کردہ کہا گیا ہے، جو پتی (شیو) اور موکش کی طرف عروج کرتے ہیں۔
