FAQs

It frames worship as śaraṇāgati (surrender): life and protection are sought from the Divine alone, aligning Linga-pūjā with dependence on Pati (Shiva) as the ultimate refuge.

Shiva-tattva is implied as the sole ground of prāṇa and well-being—Pati who sustains the embodied state and can direct the pashu toward hita (true good), i.e., purification and liberation from pāśa.

The key practice is devotional surrender expressed as a protective prayer (rakṣā-prārthanā), a Pāśupata-aligned attitude where the aspirant entrusts life and welfare to the Lord’s grace.
