अर्धावशिष्टे तस्मिंस्तु द्वापरे सम्प्रवर्तिते मानवस्य नरिष्यन्तः पुत्र आसीद् दमः किल

جب دُوَاپر یُگ شروع ہوا اور ابھی آدھا ہی گزرا تھا، تو منو کے بیٹے نَرِشیَنت کے ہاں ‘دَم’ نام کا بیٹا ہوا۔ یوں دھرم کے مطابق شاہی سلسلہ چلتا رہا؛ اور کَال چکر کے ناظم پتی (شیو) اسے پوشیدہ طور پر سنبھالتے ہیں۔
