Adhyaya 44: Nandikesvara’s Manifestation and Abhisheka; The Rule of Namaskara in Shiva-Nama
सम्भाराणि तथान्यानि विविधानि बहून्यपि समन्तान् निन्युर् अव्यग्रा गणपा देवसंमताः
sambhārāṇi tathānyāni vividhāni bahūnyapi samantān ninyur avyagrā gaṇapā devasaṃmatāḥ
تب دیوتاؤں کے منظور شدہ شیو گنوں کے سردار بے اضطراب دل کے ساتھ ہر سمت سے طرح طرح کا سامان اور بہت سی دوسری ضروری چیزیں لے آئے۔
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimiṣāraṇya)
It emphasizes that Linga-pūjā is supported by proper sambhāra (ritual requisites) gathered systematically and reverently, showing that outer order and sacred readiness aid inner devotion.
By portraying Śiva’s gaṇas as disciplined and “devasaṃmata,” the verse implies Śiva as Pati—the cosmic Lord whose worship is upheld by divine order, guiding pashus toward purity through regulated action.
The key practice is avyagratā—undistracted steadiness—applied to seva and pūjā preparation, aligning karma (service) with yogic focus, a foundational attitude consistent with Pāśupata discipline.
