जराव्याधिक्षुधाविष्टा दुःखान्निर्वेदमानसाः विचारणा तु निर्वेदात् साम्यावस्था विचारणा

بڑھاپے، بیماری اور بھوک سے گھِر کر، دکھ کے سبب ان کے دل میں نِروید (بیزاری) پیدا ہوتی ہے۔ اسی بےرغبتی سے سچی وچارَنا (تمیز و تفکر) جنم لیتی ہے، اور وہی وچارَنا پختہ ہو کر سامْیَاَوَستھا—یعنی توازنِ باطن—تک پہنچتی ہے۔
