ऋषिः सर्वत्रगत्वेन हरिः सर्वहरो यतः / अनुत्पादाच्च पूर्वत्वात् स्वयंभूरिति स स्मृतः

ṛṣiḥ sarvatragatvena hariḥ sarvaharo yataḥ / anutpādācca pūrvatvāt svayaṃbhūriti sa smṛtaḥ

ہر جگہ پہنچنے کی وجہ سے وہ ‘رِشی’ کہلاتا ہے؛ سب کچھ چھین لینے کی وجہ سے ‘ہری’ کے نام سے یاد کیا جاتا ہے۔ اور چونکہ وہ بے پیدائش اور سب سے پہلے ہے، اس لیے وہ ‘سویَمبھو’—خود پیدا—کہا جاتا ہے۔
