Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: vira
This verse is primarily genealogical, establishing a dharma-rooted royal lineage; it does not directly teach Ātman-doctrine, but it frames dharma as the guiding principle through which higher spiritual teachings (elsewhere in the Purāṇa) are approached.
No explicit yoga practice is described in this verse; its focus is on dharma-knowledge and heroic capacity in righteous rulers, a common Purāṇic foundation for later instructions on vows, worship, and yogic discipline.
It does not directly address Śiva–Viṣṇu unity; it functions as narrative scaffolding in the Pūrvabhāga, preparing the broader Purāṇic context in which synthesis themes appear more explicitly in other sections.
