In 3.10.22, Śukadeva describes the manifestation of cloven-hoofed animals—listing species like buffalo, boar, deer, sheep, and camel—as part of the ordered process of creation (sarga).
Śukadeva honors Vidura as a foremost saintly person while explaining cosmology, indicating that such knowledge is meant to be heard by the virtuous and sincere seekers.
It encourages seeing nature as an organized, purposeful manifestation of the Divine order, fostering humility, gratitude, and responsible, dharmic stewardship toward other living beings.
