Dakṣa’s Daughters, Cosmic Lineages, and the Population of the Three Worlds
विश्वेदेवास्तु विश्वाया अप्रजांस्तान् प्रचक्षते । साध्योगणश्च साध्याया अर्थसिद्धिस्तु तत्सुत: ॥ ७ ॥
viśve-devās tu viśvāyā aprajāṁs tān pracakṣate sādhyo-gaṇaś ca sādhyāyā arthasiddhis tu tat-sutaḥ
وِشوا کے بیٹے ‘وِشْوَدیَو’ کہلائے؛ کہا جاتا ہے کہ وہ بے اولاد تھے۔ سادھیا کے بطن سے ‘سادھْی’ گن پیدا ہوئے، اور ان کا بیٹا ‘اَرتھ سِدّھی’ تھا۔
In this verse, Śukadeva explains that the Viśvedevas are born from Viśvā, and they are described as aprajāḥ—without progeny.
Śukadeva states that the Sādhyas are born from Sādhyā, and her son is named Artha-siddhi.
It teaches careful attention to sacred lineage and cosmic order (dharma), encouraging devotees to study the Bhagavatam systematically and see creation as organized under the Lord’s governance.
