Diti’s Puṁsavana Vow, Indra’s Intervention, and the Birth of the Maruts
अहो अर्थेन्द्रियारामो योषिन्मय्येह मायया । गृहीतचेता: कृपण: पतिष्ये नरके ध्रुवम् ॥ ३९ ॥
aho arthendriyārāmo yoṣin-mayyeha māyayā gṛhīta-cetāḥ kṛpaṇaḥ patiṣye narake dhruvam
کشیپ مُنی نے دل میں سوچا: “ہائے! میں مال و دولت اور حواس کی لذتوں میں مگن ہو گیا ہوں۔ اسی کا فائدہ اٹھا کر بھگوان کی مایا نے عورت کے روپ میں (میری بیوی کے روپ میں) میرا دل پکڑ لیا ہے۔ اس لیے میں یقیناً بدبخت ہوں اور ضرور جہنم کی طرف گر پڑوں گا۔”
