श्रीप्रह्राद उवाच पितरि प्रस्थितेऽस्माकं तपसे मन्दराचलम् । युद्धोद्यमं परं चक्रुर्विबुधा दानवान्प्रति ॥ २ ॥ H

پرہلاد مہاراج نے کہا—جب ہمارے والد ہِرنیکشیپو سخت تپسیا کے لیے مَندرَچل پہاڑ گئے، تو ان کی غیر موجودگی میں اندرَ وغیرہ دیوتاؤں نے دانوؤں کو جنگ میں دبانے کی سخت کوشش کی۔
