jahnos tu purus tasyātha balākaś cātmajo ’jakaḥ tataḥ kuśaḥ kuśasyāpi kuśāmbus tanayo vasuḥ kuśanābhaś ca catvāro gādhir āsīt kuśāmbujaḥ
جہنو کا بیٹا پُرو، پُرو کا بیٹا بَلاک، بَلاک کا بیٹا اَجَک، اور اَجَک کا بیٹا کُش تھا۔ کُش کے چار بیٹے—کُشامبُو، تَنَیَ، وَسُو اور کُشنابھ—ہوئے۔ کُشامبُو کا بیٹا گادھی تھا۔
