न स्तुवीत न निन्देत कुर्वत: साध्वसाधु वा । वदतो गुणदोषाभ्यां वर्जित: समदृङ्मुनि: ॥ १६ ॥
na stuvīta na nindeta kurvataḥ sādhv asādhu vā vadato guṇa-doṣābhyāṁ varjitaḥ sama-dṛṅ muniḥ
برابر نظر رکھنے والا زاہد مُنی دوسروں کو نیک یا بد عمل کرتے، درست یا نادرست بولتے دیکھ کر بھی نہ تعریف کرتا ہے نہ ملامت۔ وہ گُن اور دوش کے دوئی سے بےاثر رہ کر کسی کی ستائش یا تنقید نہیں کرتا۔
