teṣu yajñasya paśavaḥ savanaspatayaḥ kuśāḥ idaṁ ca deva-yajanaṁ kālaś coru-guṇānvitaḥ

یَجْن ادا کرنے کے لیے قربانی کے جانور، سَوَن کی نباتات، کُش وغیرہ سامان درکار ہوتا ہے؛ نیز دیوتاؤں کے لیے یَجْن کی ویدی (قربان گاہ) اور مناسب، اوصاف سے بھرپور وقت—جیسے بہار کا موسم—بھی ضروری ہے۔
