तमभ्यषिञ्चन् विधिवदक्तमभ्यक्तमृत्विज: । पत्नीभिरष्टादशभि: सोमराजमिवोडुभि: ॥ ४७ ॥

Transliteration

tam abhyaṣiñcan vidhi-vad aktam abhyaktam ṛtvijaḥ patnībhir aṣṭā-daśabhiḥ soma-rājam ivoḍubhiḥ

Translation

وسودیو کی آنکھوں میں سرمہ لگایا گیا اور بدن پر تازہ مکھن ملا گیا۔ پھر رِتوِجوں نے شاستری قاعدے کے مطابق مقدس پانی چھڑک کر انہیں اور ان کی اٹھارہ بیویوں کو دیक्षा دی۔ بیویوں کے حلقے میں وہ ستاروں سے گھیرے چاند کی طرح جلوہ گر ہوئے۔
