Nārada Sees Lord Kṛṣṇa’s Yoga-māyā in the Palaces of the Queens
Dvāra-kā-līlā
तं सन्निरीक्ष्य भगवान् सहसोत्थितश्री- पर्यङ्कत: सकलधर्मभृतां वरिष्ठ: । आनम्य पादयुगलं शिरसा किरीट- जुष्टेन साञ्जलिरवीविशदासने स्वे ॥ १४ ॥
taṁ sannirīkṣya bhagavān sahasotthita-śrī- paryaṅkataḥ sakala-dharma-bhṛtāṁ variṣṭhaḥ ānamya pāda-yugalaṁ śirasā kirīṭa- juṣṭena sāñjalir avīviśad āsane sve
نارد کو دیکھتے ہی بھگوان، جو دھرم کے سب سے بڑے محافظ ہیں، شری دیوی کے بستر سے فوراً اٹھ کھڑے ہوئے۔ تاج آراستہ سر جھکا کر نارد کے قدموں میں سجدہ کیا اور ہاتھ جوڑ کر انہیں اپنے ہی آسن پر بٹھایا۔
This verse shows Kṛṣṇa immediately rising from His couch, bowing to the visitor’s feet, and offering respect with folded hands—revealing divine humility and perfect etiquette.
As the greatest upholder of dharma, Kṛṣṇa teaches by example: honoring devotees and guests, and demonstrating that true greatness includes humility and respect.
Practice respectful reception—stand up, greet sincerely, and offer honor to elders, teachers, and guests—cultivating humility as a form of lived dharma.
