Uddhava Sent to Vraja: Consolation to Nanda-Yaśodā and the Gopīs’ Separation
tam āha bhagavān preṣṭhaṁ bhaktam ekāntinaṁ kvacit gṛhītvā pāṇinā pāṇiṁ prapannārti-haro hariḥ
This verse describes Hari as “prapannārti-haraḥ”—the Lord who takes away the suffering of those who fully surrender to Him.
It signifies intimacy and trust: Kṛṣṇa is about to entrust Uddhava—His dearmost, one-pointed devotee—with a confidential mission connected to Vṛndāvana.
Cultivate single-hearted devotion by prioritizing remembrance of Kṛṣṇa, aligning daily choices with bhakti, and seeking shelter in Him during anxiety rather than relying solely on temporary supports.
